Meet the Teacher

Katy is a WA-certified teacher and Certified Wired for Reading Therapist.  She holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education, a BS in Child Development, and a Certificate in Instructional Design from UW.  With over 25 years of experience in education, Katy has enjoyed classroom teaching, parent education, teacher training, and school administration.  Her current passion is supporting struggling readers and writers through personalized, systematic, therapeutic intervention.
